About Druid's Tale: Crystal Cave
Become an unconventional Druid that protects the land from the forces of darkness. Use true power of VR devices or just play with your mouse and keyboard.
The game emphasizes the use of new solutions, to show players something they know in a completely different way. Do not be fooled by your habits and open your mind to new experiences.
Explore the atmospheric world of underground caves filled with magical crystals. Discover hidden passages and secret locations filled with unique ingredients.
Collect herbs and mushrooms in an environment that lives on its own life. The flora of the land grows on the basis of how it is cared for. Each biom has its own ecosystem. Be careful not to lead to the extinction of rare herbs by interfering with the land.
Create potions throwing various ingredients into the cauldron. Discover new recipes, refine their composition, and save them on scrolls. You can create both potions, drugs or even alcohol. Many of them have unique effects and can influence how we see the environment.
Perform research and analysis of the newly found ingredients, objects or remains of enemies, discover their properties and characteristics using specialized tools.
Trade with neutral factions to help them with their needs. Get access to the objects that don't exist in your land and maintain a relationship. The faction interacts with each other and can interfere in your land by building structures or devastating it.
Protect the world against the forces of darkness. Black spirits will haunt the land coming from its dimension. Some of them will want to take control of a fragment of your world materializing in the form of evil totems. Do not be fooled by the inconsistency of this opponent, he will slowly suck life energy out of the land and gain unique abilities that he will use to defend.
Travel to the dimension of darkness, dark place from where ghosts are attacking your world, to obtain a rare ingredients and steal their treasures.
Try out 3 completely unique mission systems where everyone will find the most suitable job for him.

The game was designed to take advantage of the potential dormant in virtual reality and enhance the experience associated with it. It is based on building a deep immersion for which standard solutions and interface have been abandoned. Many aspects will benefit from the perception of the depth, the sense of spatial orientation, and the way in which the mind reacts to certain specific stimuli. However, even if you don't have VR Set, you can still play using standard PC Configuration (Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse)

Due to ongoing VR testing, virtual reality and Leap Motion support in the current version of the game is disabled. It will be available as soon as possible in future updates.

The premise is great. I love a lot of the ideas that this game is offering up. What is missing however, is the implementation. The map all looks pretty much identical, yet the player is expected to navigate through it, on a time limit, for some completely unstated purpose. The closest the game gets to motivation is "You are a Druid, don't pick too many plants." I have no reason to do anything. The controls are awkward as well. Mouse and move sort of works in games like Amnesia, but it feels so inelegant here. Like I am using the terrible object carrying controls from Oblivion. I really want this game to end up awesome, because I think that being a druid and picking plants would be rad. I do it every time I play Skyrim. This game was nothing about druidism.. Just a click bait, fun the first hour and then you search for more things... =( Not worth the price tag! It handles worse than anything without VR set. But don't support it straight away x'D I wanted a refund but it was too late, I had to google and research about this game on how to decode all sigil's and marks but nothing I had to spend more time writing things down since the game was "SOO helpful" with having a in game notebook.....Best druid ever without his own notebook.. But there are NO instructions inside the game, No tutorial. No guide in the steam community.. So you start of with a briefing and rest you figure out, including how things work. How to slay the ghost for example. When he took 40 hits in his face (Which can bug and become immortal so you need to start entire save file over from start in order to get rid of the ghost sometimes.. ) You are just being told things very short and bad, without more info on what things mean, and what they do.. and again (Or how the mark or sigil look like but you have to guess and have a notebook next to you irl, So you write down things more than actually playing the game....) [b]The bad things about this game:[/b] garbage physics, terrible English and instructions which tell you ♥♥♥♥ all, bugs such as the disappearing cursor and objects constantly falling through the floor never to be seen again, amateur stock Unity graphics, combat of a quality that rivals Wyatt Derp, awful keyboard and mouse controls, the lack of a map, a stamina system that does nothing but make it even harder for you to navigate by drowning you in a black vignette, and the constant feeling of having no idea what you're doing. Hey everyone! For beginning I'd like to say one think... If by any chance You like gathering and crafting games, Druid's Tale is game that you want to try! Experimenting with some crystals, mushrooms and other things to create diferent types of potions and testing them is very entertaining. :D (I wonder how many potions actualy exist in this game..) But let's get to the point. Graphic is very nice done, (especialy big shining crystals, just love them!) but to be honest I'd like to see how it will look like with VR set. (I hope those VR tests mentioned at the end of game description will end soon) At beginning this game seems to be very hard, but once you get to know basics of potion crafting, quests and how to deal with evil spirits You start thinking "what the heck? was that really so easy?!" Same goes with controling you character by Mouse/Keyboard, it's just... hmm... not easy? until You get used to it. (Maybe with VR controlers or this Leap Motion it'll be easier, I'll test that if game will get VR Update) I hope there will be more updates with new resources and some new cool potions added later. And about fighting... I rly want to smash those big crystals into small pieces…9 found this helpful
I’m loving this game, the only thing that worries me is that I have no idea if they’re gonna continue to update. There are a few things that definetly need to be fixed but other than that I’m in love and hope the creatures update us on its future soon Magic lover, Sahar4 found this helpful
