If you absolutely need a game of these themes then go ahead, otherwise it's either shovelware or low enough quality to readily compare. The game is missing basic features like inventory organization, base chests, and graphics(which aren't normally a feature per se, but the washed out pallete makes basic things hard to do). The main attraction of this game is the crafting system in which you add ingredients to a pot to shift it's magic alignment, and then add an item in the hopes that it will react to your puddle of whatever element. This sounds cool, but up to where I've played there's nothing to really pay it off, even the potions you make are all physically identical. You can get away with horrible graphics if you can make an entertaining game, this though, this has none of that.

I couldn't get far in because the fact that the cauldron wouldn't keep ingredients while you travelled combined with only being able to fetch one apple per travel made it a bit infuriating to move past the tutorial. The lack of sound effects when in the meadow also make it feel a bit eerie despite looking pretty. I hope this game becomes something more as I was really excited to gather and create potions but overall it feels lacking at this point.

Very cute idea. I like the crafting system - and especially that you have to think about it a bit. BUT - it's just a proof of concept basically - not a game. I'm very interested what if anything will come out of it - but as of now it's not really playable. I also highly suggest a different engine to whatever this uses - or a better usage of it - because the select/hit boxes are totally bugged. I'l give it a recommend as an idea that I like - but I do not recommend playing it yet.

I played Memento Infernum then this both felt like passion projects/game jams but both are entertaining I am a big fan of the PS2 graphics I hope the next game is just as good if not better keep up the work love you xoxo.
