About DuoQ
A 2-Player Game, Played Entirely in Singleplayer
DuoQ is an e-dating sim about romancing another person in an online game. Play alongside Tala, a mysterious stranger met in the fictional FPS game To the Heart. With Tala at your side, you'll solve co-op challenges, learn about her IRL life, and answer the question: is she into you?Features
- Talk with Tala using your real voice, with open ended conversations, a rich narrative to uncover, and plenty of flirting to do!
- Overcome multiplayer-like challenges and puzzles, fully playable in single player
- Discover collectibles, secrets, and multiple distinct endings
...So is this a Multiplayer Game?
Nope! DuoQ uses voice recognition to track your conversation with Tala, allowing for real time conversations and history. Tala isn't a real person, but using these new technologies, we can tell a new kind of story through the structure of a multiplayer game.Plus, nothing in DuoQ is AI Generated. We use machine learning to advance the conversation, but we don't use AI to generate voice lines, art, or the story itself. This is a handcrafted game and a labor of love from our team - enjoy! What Steam players say

Finally my friend list is full 1/16 found this helpful
Cool concept but the game wouldn't respond to my mic or anything typed in chat. The AI partner also stopped responding to my dialogue choices at the pillar puzzle which makes it impossible to progress - all stuff that other people have mentioned. Definitely would've been a Recommended if it wasn't just broken. Sadge.3 found this helpful
great
Good voice acting for sure, but it couldn't pick up my mic (a mic I myself use for voice acting so I KNOW it works), there's so few options you can't change the FOV so it hurts my eyes to play and strains them, the graphics settings that do exist seem to only affect whether it runs at a stable fps or not, and there's no VSync so there's no way to stop the constant tearing. Give it some accessibility options, new options menu, and a mic system, the main gimmick, that works (although the alternative choice system does work but isn't immersive), and I can give this a positive rating.
Edit: The servers are finally back online! The developers fixed the voice and text input issues, and everything works great now. I was able to easily complete the game and unlock all the achievements. Thank you for fixing it!
this game is great, the graphics are beautiful, the music is charming, the character designs are awesome and i love tala's voice acting BUT i fear i cannot play more than 5 minutes of it without getting motion sick because the mouse sensitivity cant go any lower. imagine im enjoying it all of it through in spirit maybe i should take a dramamine before hopping back in
