About Elsewhere High: Chapter 1 - A Visual Novel
Welcome to Elsewhere High, "a school for exceptional children."
In this visual novel, players are able to immerse themselves in the world of the outcast. Each student at Elsewhere High has fallen short of expectations at their original high school; they've flunked out, skipped class, wrote threatening notes, or grew to be a reprehensible bully. Friendships spawn, and feuds arise, but amidst the teen drama and angst it quickly becomes clear that Elsewhere is much, much more than it seems.
Chapter one is the free first chapter in a planned multi-chapter series. Subsequent chapters will be sold at a small cost.
Largely kinetic, Elsewhere High allows players to make various choices that lead them down intermittently varying paths. Each reader will reach the same destination, but is able to make small choices that affect individual scenes rather than the arching narrative.

As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This isn't even the whole e-book, it's just an advertisement, and you have to pay real money to get the second incomplete chapter for this garbage. And if you're wondering what incomplete book this garbage advert in the wrong place is advertising, you guessed it, it's about the authors imaginary girlfriend, who is a highschool student. The writing about this imaginary girlfriend is cringe enough to make you throw up. Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literatur…

It's not interesting and the game doesn't seem like it's going to be finished. Leave it
