✦ AI summary

Players praise this short puzzle game for its engaging voice acting, effective but not overwhelming tension, and clever meta elements that reward exploration. However, complaints center on its brevity, occasional frustrating puzzle design with punishing enemy encounters, and the protagonist's heavy use of profanity that some find grating rather than fitting. The game appeals to those seeking a manageable thrilling experience but may disappoint players looking for deeper survival gameplay or a complete narrative arc.

this game is for people looking for a short, pleasant puzzle game with a gloss of zombie apocalypse. [*]♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ punkass kids .. - the voice acting and dialog here is a lot of fun. i'm not sure if that's intentional, but it's what gave the game soul and drove my interest. i streamed this game on my twitch channel and my community got a kick out of it [*]bit jumpy, innit ? - not many jumpscares, and they aren't too "intense", but they are effective. i felt a good amount of tension in this game, and it was enjoyable. [*]easter eggcellent - the 'easter eggs' in this game overshadow the experience and change it dramatically. i found them pretty interesting, though it does split the game in half.

this game isn't for people looking for a rich survival horror or a deeper plot. [*]put another shrimp on the barbie - zombies are relatively trivial as the game advances, which undercuts the 'survival' aspect somewhat. thankfully, the first half is pretty tense, and there's still room for player error to send you to your doom, so this isn't a dealbreaker, but it's a point i tend to focus on in these sorts of games. [*]the cake is a lie…

A short but great game, loved the fact I saw a familiar face along the way quite a few times. It worries me though how much she keeps popping up and I'm not sure...if this is just a sequel? Either way good game imo.

Decent game. A bit short, and some of the puzzle solving can be a little annoying (especially if the enemy one shots you as you try to get around them) but it's an interesting story that gets meta if you find all the secrets. I dug it. https://youtu.be/gkK_89iMO-c

Short and easy to clear. controls are straightforward, graphic is nice and whole game is smooth. Would really look forward to future projects and the continued story but seems like dev is not continuing? recommended for those who need to experience something thrilling but can't handle jumpscare. This is a good try. Apart from many curse words in MC dialogs (understand that the MC is panic but well) , the rest is overall quite enjoyable.

This a relatively "early" review in terms of time spent with the game (I had forgotten of one particular mechanic after hitting the 20 min mark on my first playthrough, so take I'm less than 40 minutes in at the time of writing this), but also one which I believe is relatively important: the game has more to it than what it first appears, so Please don't immediately drop it. The opening of the game is kinda stereotypical in terms of zombie plots and the main character peppers f-bombs in his speech in a way which really doesn't work, but there are tons of little details, some of them connected to Em-A-Li (the previous game by the developer, a lovely short walking simulator), which elevate the overall game experience. It is is not a super-great game and I honestly could have used without some of the mechanics (the flashlight is really fiddly as to when its needed and when it even works and needs to have its batteries replaced every now and then, but there seem to be enough pickups for that not to be a huge problem), but none of them so far look like they are or will be game killers for me. Here's me hoping this keeps being enjoyable.
