✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's difficulty, scary atmosphere, and frequent updates, but report significant technical issues including game-breaking bugs like failed rope-cutting prompts, performance problems even on low graphics, and collision detection problems where enemies clip through walls and doors. The gameplay is described as fun despite clunky mechanics, though the inventory system that resets each chapter and limited save functionality are frustrating, and some late-game areas feel too cramped for combat.

First, my guy has no business behind the wheel/controls of any vehicle. Second, he is really skinny. He slid under a bed that was maybe 4 inches off the ground, lol. Gameplay is a little clunky but fun. I tried to save ammo and not use my flashlight too much. But this dev wants you to use your equipment, so they put resources out where and when you would need them. The catch is, whenever you start a new chapter you lose your inventory. That sucks. I didn't see any way to manually save your game. There's a note that points out a bug in the game, and it says "restart the checkpoint to fix the issue" or something along those lines. That didn't work for me. I restarted and exited the game completely a few times and I still can't cut the rope. The game was fun up until this point. This is why I can't recommend it. The dev knows about this bug but asks you to report it. Why do I need to report a bug the dev knows about. It's clearly a wide spread problem. I'll finish the game and update my review if they fix this. Maybe make the rope break when the enemy goes in that area??

The game was ok even though its not the best lol but it was fun except towards the end especially the boss fight in the city I could not get the boss to stand in the area to trigger the prompt to tell you to cut the rope it must be insanely tiny or something and the garden area with the horde of zombies is way too small of an area to fight and I can't look around without getting swarmed in 2 seconds. Also I don't get why this game literally overheats my pc on low graphics unless I turn on v sync plus the zombies in this game go through doors like their ghosts

I am a little underwhelmed by most aspects of this game. The first time I played, I clicked on continue game and it crashed. This was a test, but I understand the game is in early access. There are some inconsistencies between verbal dialogue and the written subtitles, and often times the things you hit with a weapon do not make a sound consistent with the material. Examples being some metal makes a wood sound. There is a 'nemesis' type enemy that you must flee from, but it clips through the walls and can be glitched in places fairly easily, although it cannot be killed. Can I suggest you play this game now? No, not really. Will I be hanging onto this title because it seems to be getting fairly frequent updates? Yes.I will adjust this review accordingly as the game becomes more playable. Meanwhile in 2025, it appears as if this game hasn't been touched since 2023. Abandoned, forgotten, and just another cash grab. This is precisely why people are reluctant to support indie games.
