About Entropic Float: This World Will Decay And Disappear
The one thing made certain in the Loop Anomaly that suddenly appeared in Black Rock Desert in 2024- No matter what the individuals trapped inside might try to do, their version of the world will fade away when the clocktower strikes midnight. It's up to you to influence their choices and determine the method through which each loop will disappear.
As you step into the shoes of Kanatsun, Amelie, and Rashmi over the course of nine different timelines, discover the secrets of the characters and the clocktower alike. Push your protagonist into making good choices, and see the loop simply rewind, granting its victims the opportunity to recall the events which transpired... Or dive into poor decisions and watch as Entropy overtakes the loop, leaving you the only one to remember the way the timeline fell apart.
How was this Anomaly formed? Why did these particular people get trapped inside? What is the source of the Entropy, and who is the Enemy? And most of all, how can the Anomaly be escaped?
Morning, Noon, and Night. Kanatsun, Amelie, and Rashmi. Explore the different permutations of this time loop and bear witness to all eighteen endings, and you just might be able to find a path to set free the fourteen individuals trapped inside the Anomalous Clocktower.
Entropic Float contains 9 routes, 18 normal endings, and 1 true ending. All 18 endings are required to unlock the true ending. There is a spoiler-free walkthrough available, and the game includes options to jump from one ending to the branching point for the other ending.

Entropic Float is an experience I'm grateful for the existence of. Where I often feel invisible, this game made me feel a little more seen. I was surprised by how much content there is, especially considering that it's available for free!! I opted to pay a few dollars when I initially got it through Itch, as I didn't know what to expect, but it was worth far more as an experience. EF is a fantasy time-loop mystery story, the larger part of which is non-linear. I tend to think that games with multiple routes/paths have an ideal order in which they should be played, but EF is one case in which I think the different parts could be played in any order; each a wonderful way to experience the story. Various moments are made more intriguing or mysterious, or lead to different readings of situations, depending on what one saw prior. Maybe there is an ideal in some cases, but most orders have differing benefits both ways. It's very consistent, minds what knowledge the player should have obtained from a specific "loop", and doesn't rehash the same information unnecessarily. It was fun theorizing as I went along! Some of the references definitely went over my head, but I did catch a fun GNOS…3 found this helpful
A game that, if one gets past the surface level perception of it appearing weird and excessively PC, reveals itself to be a decent ontological mystery plot with one of the best entirely original story concepts. Also, a sheer nightmare of story flows, routes and endings.1 found this helpful
Loam! Send post!
A great game by an author I really love, while i'm not done with it, the almost 3h i played haven't disappointed me and I can only recommend it.
The graphics are absolutely hideous even for a free game, it's simply unpleasant to look at. I was willing to give it a pass anyway since the story concept (time loops) is right up my alley, but then the game started introducing characters and one of them started talking about "misgendering" and I've decided to call it quits at this point. I can stand bad graphics or amateur production values but I'm not sticking around to find out whether this is a character quirk or just another lame figment of the culture war straight from twitter/tumblr because doing literally anything else will be a better use of my time.
