This is a straightforward horde survival game that lays all its cards on the table during the very first run. The core mechanics are simple: you choose one of four characters, each equipped with a unique ability, and try to survive for as long as possible. In addition to auto-attacking, you have access to three special abilities that can be deployed on the ground using dedicated buttons. These include a spinning blade, a bow, and a staff, each firing a different type of projectile. While these abilities are temporary, the cooldowns are short enough to let you place another before the previous one disappears. Your primary weapon is either a pistol or a machine gun, which can be picked up around the map. These weapons have limited ammo and require reloading, but the reload time is quick. As you defeat enemies, you fill a special meter that, once full, temporarily boosts the weapon’s fire rate and damage output. Progression comes from collecting experience points dropped by fallen enemies. Once you level up, you’re offered a choice between three random perks.
