About Escape From Zombies
✦ AI summary
Survive endless waves of zombies solo or cooperatively by earning points to buy weapons, equipment, and game-changing power-ups while protecting fallen teammates from permanent elimination. The longer you last before everyone goes down, the higher your score climbs—making every round a race to beat your previous record.
Escape From Zombies is played alone or cooperatively, on a map where the player(s) must repel waves of zombies through each level. It should be noted that the game does not end until all players are dead, the main goal is to beat the record of survived round.
The game is currently in Pre Alpha, and still in development
The player earns points by inflicting damage on zombies, killing them or reanimating a fallen teammate. It is also possible to lose points by falling to the ground. With the points, it is possible to make various purchases (weapons, equipment...), to clear certain obstacles preventing free movement inside the map, or to perform certain actions (activate traps, teleporters...), and even to acquire new weapons. ), and even acquire "Assets", materialized by drink dispensers of different colors, such as the Mastodon which allows you to receive 5 shots instead of 2 before falling to the ground, Double-Shot which increases the rate of fire of automatic weapons by 25%, Pass-Pass which halves the reloading time as well as Rapid Reanimation which halves the time needed to heal a player who has been eliminated by zombies.
In addition, some zombies drop bonuses in the form of a golden object surrounded by a green halo. The bonuses are as follows: Instant death (Insta-kill), it comes in the form of a skull and lasts 30 seconds. It allows you to kill your opponents with a single blow from any weapon. Nuke kills all zombies on the map Max ammo instantly fills the ammo and grenade supply of living players Double points lasts 30 seconds and doubles the points received by wounding or killing zombies and rebuilding barricades.
It is possible to have more than four assets at the same time, and the player will lose them if he falls down. Once reanimated, he will keep his weapons. If unfortunately no one comes to revive him before a given time, he will disappear from the map and will only reappear in the next round (provided that the other players survive the current one...), without trumps or weapons. The game ends when all players are down.

The zombies don't react when you shoot them. There is no visual feedback unless the zombie actually falls down. The points you get from killing the zombies can be used on buying guns that do nothing and unblocking passages that zombies can just bybass. The premise is that the zombies can walk through walls but the player is stuck. Makes perfect sense to me. Not to mention the fact that the existence of Killing Floor, Dead Island, Left 4 Dead, all make this game superfluous. It's in Early Access. Which in this dev's case, means that it barely functions and is largely content free. Just avoid this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-JJGZD-T7s12 found this helpful
Do yourself a favor and "Escape From This Trash Game!" ..Go! Leave Now! Don't Buy! ..RUN!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrVU6pm2e60 This trash is far worse than any zombie you could ever face... - Terrible AI - Zombies glitching through walls to get to you - Zombies glitching into each other and sliding or stopping due to that - Zombies taking 7,000 shots in the head with an Uzi and not being phased at all - Way too small of map areas confine and restrict your movement way too much - Broken mechanics all the way around It's just more super lazy and/or super incompetent asset cobbled together trash proving once again that just because a game used the "UnReal" engine doesn't mean it's going to be a better game. ..In fact, most of the 99 cent zombie games made with GameGuu are way better than what this is. Like I said above.. Just RUN! ..Escape while you can before you waste even a few coins on this trash! ..What are you "still" doing here?!?! GO NOW! NOT RECOMMENDED! ... My Score: A maggot infested ZERO asset direct from the Unreal marketplace.9 found this helpful
love the concept, has its bugs to be expected in a pre alpha, i feel once the updates roll out this has the potential to be an amazing zombie game an extension to this, first wave of updates are rolling and the game already feels 100 times cleaner then the previous version, with some patience and community feedback actually being taken into consideration i can already see myself and the boys putting HOURS into this nostalgic masterpiece5 found this helpful
This game... well actually it can't even be considered a game. This game is in pre-alpha and it shouldn't have been released. Zombies clip through walls, don't react when shot and take 15 rounds from an M4 in the first round. This game needs a lot of time yet to be what it should be. That said, I can see this game actually being fun. To the Dev, don't give up because I can see this game being a $5-$10 title that crushes the recent COD Zombies.5 found this helpful
