Zombie Panic! Source is a free-to-play multiplayer horror shooter developed and published by Zombie Panic! Team that has managed to remain relevant long after many games from its era faded away. Built on Valve's Source engine, it transforms the traditional zombie survival formula by placing every participant under human control, whether they are fighting for survival or spreading the infection. Instead of relying on scripted enemy behavior, each match unfolds according to the decisions, coordination, and creativity of real players. This design keeps every session feeling fresh, as no two encounters ever play out exactly the same way. The game's greatest strength lies in its asymmetrical gameplay. Been a fun game for years, would like to see a new release.

I feel like this game and No More Room In Hell would be alot better if merged together as one game as i feel this game utilizes that game's ideas better (& without having horrible controls) while also lacking some basic features (like bots) that NMRIH offered. Haven't ran into any players yet so i cant speak for balancing, but the premise is interesting. I like that the patient zero zombie can speak. Like he has resisted or not fully succumbed to the brain rot yet wish the game had the option to play with bots when players arent available/users have high ping. I also like that it isnt obvious when and if you got infected and have a chance to cure it early at the cost of wasting rare medicine that you may not have or might not have needed if rng didnt infect you and that infected survivors are essentially on both teams at once. (Instead of NMRIH where getting killed & reainmated as a zombie just turned your character to a NPC) They have the choice to kill themselves (would work great with NMRIH's suicide mechanic), help the survivors (at a safe distance) or help the zombies by attacking/weakening the unsuspecting survivors like a traitor in TTT.
