Escape The Glubinka is a free-to-play first-person adventure developed and published by blevsoft that combines survival mechanics, exploration, action, and horror with an unusual dose of absurd humor. Set in a remote rural settlement during the 1990s, the game places players inside a strange and increasingly unsettling environment where survival depends on scavenging resources, avoiding hazards, and uncovering the mysteries hidden within a seemingly forgotten village. While its modest production values immediately identify it as an indie project, the game's eccentric personality helps it stand apart from more conventional horror experiences. The story begins after a disastrous accident leaves the protagonist stranded near the isolated village of Glubnkovo. What initially appears to be an ordinary rural settlement quickly reveals itself to be something far more disturbing. The village is filled with hostile inhabitants, strange phenomena, and unexplained dangers that turn a simple journey home into a desperate fight for survival. By J. Thaddeus Pemberton-Smythe, Esq., OBE (Order of the British Empire, naturally), Patron of the Arts, and Occasional Sufferer of Questionable Steam Curiosities. My dear chaps and chapettes, One does not simply stumble upon Escape the Glubinka. No, one is ambushed by it, much like our unfortunate protagonist who, on that fateful December evening in 1994, had the temerity to drive through the forsaken wilds of rural Russia without so much as a decent thermos of Earl Grey. One minute you're motoring along, the next—WHAM—a tree has the audacity to introduce itself to your windscreen, and darkness claims you faster than a Tory backbencher claims expenses. What follows, dear reader, is a gloriously unhinged first-person romp through the very heart of the glubinka—that mythical Russian back-of-beyond where the vodka flows like the Thames at high tide, the bread is blacker than a miner's lungs, and the locals are... well, let's just say they haven't read the Geneva Conventions.
this game made my ears bleed profusely and i wanted to cry from the terror i was experience. very very scary. kinda made my knees tickle with fear. good experience! very very well executed. I love the ambiance of the characters, story, and setting. The way the game flows makes me curious to learn more about the lore. Game does not overstay its welcome and is always a wonder to experience and should be used as a guide for triple a game companies.
If only I had 200 euros for Escape From Tarkov Deluxe
