This game made me so happy. From its loveable characters to its great platforming, this game was simply so much fun to plays. This game was beautiful and everything i wanted it to be. Pros + controller friendly (I used both and found the controls to be crisp on both methods) + Amazing soundtrack. + The game stands on it own two feet, it has its own unique and loveable character. + All of the game is replayable to collect that last item or revisit a world to explore new areas + Some levels are fast and easy and some are extremely complex + Pure simple fun Cons + Sometimes the platforming controls can be a bit anoying (Wall jumps not going how you want them to) + The camera can get stuck on/against objects and walls, although only rarely, making for some annoying jumping visuals. + Setting menu kinda feel weird but im sure its will changed till the full game will be out ! I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who like Puzzle Combine with Exploration . It's not flawless, there are a few technical issues in the game like framedrops and sometimes graphics settings won't save, this game is still well worth your money as a lot of those things can be patched out3 found this helpful
I'm more of a casual gamer and I'm attracted to the zelda series and interactive games! Essence of the Tjikko surprised me a lot by its universe that is making me think of a temple inside the kokkiri forest hehe I'm pretty sure that the game designer, developper and creator (because yes I figured it out this game was mainly created by one person) is a huge fan of the license as well!! I really liked all the puzzles that made me think of the ones in zelda. The universe is really interesting and even if the main character seems a bit creepy at the first sight, we can't do nothing else than attaching to her the more we're playing! The art style is unique, we can notice that each elements has been deeply thought in the process. The sound design is also really immersive and helps you from the start to drown into this mysterious and magical atmosphere. There was a few bugs when I started to play and I took some time to figure out the main controls (I'm using my keyboard but I've read it's easier with a controller) but everything has since been fixed thanks to the updates :) To conclude I'ld say that this game made me travel back in time by its universe. I really enjoyed playing i…3 found this helpful
For those who miss the feeling old games used to give. That quiet sense of mystery, wonder, and not fully knowing what’s going on, this game brings that back. It reminded me of what it felt like to just play, explore, and slowly understand a world on my own. This is my review after the first two hours. It didn’t click with me immediately. It started rough. I felt a little confused at first, unsure of what to do at times, maybe that’s just me being too used to modern games. But as I kept playing, I started to remember why I loved games as a kid. They weren’t perfect. They were rough around the edges sometimes. But they had something! A true sense of discovery and exploration. A world that felt real. A game that lets you figure things out by yourself. The world is beautifully built. The environments feel magical, like stepping into something truly new and unique. The art direction is phenomenal. It’s also genuinely intriguing, you keep wondering what’s really going on, what it all means, and where the story is leading. It doesn’t give you clear answers, and that makes your mind wander in the best way. Even if the mechanics seem simple at first, there are also some very smart desig…1 found this helpful
Not sure if this game is still being worked on but I enjoyed the prologue. It's a relaxing puzzler that I think will appeal to both casual and frequent gamers; puzzles are not too difficult and they don't slow the game down enough to be frustrating. The camera can be a bit frustrating in tight corridors but aside from that I didn't encounter many problems.1 found this helpful
