About Before The Sun Rises
Before the Sun Rises is a 3D exploration and platform game about connection with nature and others. You play as a water drop, born from the misty dew of dawn. Can you restore the forest of your birth before the sun rises?
In single player, explore the landscape to find and collect the water that you need to bloom trees and move onto the next area. In multiplayer, connect with friends or strangers online, help each other find water sources, and work together to restore the forest!
NOTE: The current version of Before the Sun Rises is a demo and work in progress. While multiplayer is available, it is still being tested and is currently in beta.

The artwork is cute and the music is very nice. Even after completing the game, I was able to just enjoy the music and fully explore the world. It's not a fairly big world, but there are little surprises here and there that I genuinely found pretty cool. The controls are very easy to use and the directive is straightforward. I could see this as a really nice game for little ones to play and enjoy. There was one bug I found in one area, but it didn't affect the overall game play. I also tried the multiplayer aspect and unfortunately it was very laggy for the other player. However, this could have been because my other player was very far away from me and in a different continent. Overall this game was very pleasant to play and I'm excited to see what else is in store. <32 found this helpful
"Before The Sun Rises" is an unambitious, unfinished and abandoned Unreal Engine tech demo, a basic third person platformer that's really more of a narrative walking sim "art experience" than any genuine attempt to make a solid game for gamers. What do you do in the game? Not much, given this is abandoned and incomplete... walk around, get pretentious, badly written and somewhat cringey narrative shoved down your throat. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it har…

I don't understand it, but I think like it. Yes, needs more polish but could be good.
