About Fateless Night
A mysterious castle appeared out of nowhere and spreads evil miasma all over the Kingdom! You are a young adventurer who went to solve such unusual incident. Swing your sword, dash, cast your spells and use magic items to destroy the source of evil. A long, fateless night awaits you.
Fateless Night is a 2D action-platformer with randomized enemies and a skill-based combo system. Get the highest combo in each stage to unlock new challenges and obtain special rewards! Or just beat the game with your basic equipment - it's all up to you.

Not a very long game (probably 2-3 hours to finish) but surprisingly enjoyable with some nice music. There's six level with an extra boss and platforming stage that can be unlocked for each level and they can be repeated as you like to farm currency for various upgrades. There's three difficulties and after finishing the final boss there's New Game+ to replay with your stuff on a different difficulty.5 found this helpful

I haven't beaten the game yet but I'm really enjoying it. It scratches a similar itch to Shovel Knight but it less punishing which is a big plus for me. The combo system is really a good incentive to try to complete the stages quickly and without mistakes, which is a pretty cool concept. You also get a lot of unlockables as you play, so you can always try new things out. If I had one suggestion, it's that I hope the dev will add Steam native controller support. The keyboard and controller controls and settings are a little difficult to navigate.2 found this helpful
I've finished the game and I'm changing the review. It is a hidden gem. Go play it. Don't wait for a discount. It is worth every penny.
