BE WARNED!This game's development started on the 20th of March 2026.As a solo dev, who occasionally gets help from his wife (my favorite artist <3), I went for a content-first approach, so if you're reading this, expect a non-polished UI with lots of missing elements like item icons. There's also no soundtrack yet, so be sure to listen to some medieval music while playing this, to immerse yourself into this rough world. Any kind of feedback is appreciated and if you're interested, add this game to your wishlist as I will add a bunch more content and make sure it doesn't look as unfinished as it does now. Should you find any bugs, please report them, thank you! :)Medieval Sandbox SimulatorFiefs & Trade lets you choose your own path: become rich through the means of bartering, battle foes and get rid of criminals or become the most powerful ruler, all while surviving the rough life of the medieval times.Custom Character CreationChoose the life your character has lived before the beginning of their journey. Their apprenticeship and lifestyle will have a huge impact on the start of the game and will also influence other parts of it.What will this character excel at?What are their best attributes?That is up to you to decide!Rich economy In this world there are many unique places: towns, villages, castles and so on. They each produce certain goods, but also require materials, food, etc. to keep their population happy. Make the best out of it by buying wares for a low price and selling them to the highest bidder. Something as cheap as grain can be a rarity, and therefore highly expensive, in less fruitful regions.Manage your partyHire companions who will either aid you in combat or be useful in other ways, like bartering or healing your companions’ wounds. Add animals to your party that can draw carts to carry more goods or let your friends ride them to move around the land faster.RPG ElementsGain experience in and out of battle and watch your character grow. You gain Talent Points on each level up, depending on your Intelligence and other bonuses.

Equipment and turn-based combatViolence is part of the world. It always has been and, sadly, always will be. For this case, you must be prepared. Arm yourself with up to two weapons and don your armor, before you march for battle. Take aggressive or defensive actions in order to emerge victorious. Loot enemies after a victory and gain experience to become even more powerful.Or die trying. . .
