unfortunately, the game's really not all that good... it's a port of a switch game, so that's to be expected. it's fine as a really simple arcade fishing game i guess. everything just feels really lackluster, the tutorial is not very clear, and the mouse controls are poorly done. the fishing, locations and tackle don't feel meaningful. basically every fish fights the same. would be a GREAT game for kids! or people looking for something very simple. i wish i could give it a "middle" rating.5 found this helpful
so, this is like, one of the only 3 fishing games I ever trully enjoyed, even if objectivally it's not very good. it's not really a regular fishing game, there's no focus on realism, the best way I can describe it is as a "action fishing game", to the point where you'll have boss fights on in a while. that being said, out of those 3 games I mentioned, this is the least interesting one, it feels like it's lacking a lot of features and the gameplay loop is basically just "complete goal -> unlock new part -> go to new area", while sometimes you'll have to go back to previous areas cause you only unlock the tackle needed for it later.1 found this helpful
