Worldwide Sports Fishing
Worldwide Sports Fishing is a 3D fishing simulation for fishing-beginners and -professionals with fishing waters all around the globe.
Each water has it's own fish species with different drilling characteristics.
Caught fishes get stored localy (on PC) and online and you can compare your records with the records from other players and friends.
Special feature: you can recommend your dream fishing water and it will get into the game - if possible!
Fishing Waters
There are different fishing waters like rivers, lakes, ponds, oceans and coasts where you can go fishing. Each fishing water has it's own fish species which occur in this water.
Drivable Vehicles
You can go fishing anywhere at these waters. To get to the fishing spots you can run there or use your motorboat or canoe.
Hotspots
In the case of large waters, you also have the opportunity to get to different hotspots with a fast journey!
Fish Species
The different fishing waters just have the fish species wich are actually found there. A lot of different fish species, whether fresh- or saltwater, whether predators or non-predators are waiting to be caught..
Day/Night cycle
Nearly all waters have a Day/Night cycle and you can select the daytime on start of the water. So it's possible to fish at any day- or night-time you want!
5 Difficulties
You also can select the difficulty levels, wich are:
1 - Sunday fisher
2 - Rookie
3 - Normal
4 - Difficult
5 - Professional
Level 5 is similar to real-fishing so it may take a long time to get a bite!
But in level 5 you get five times the number of points for a caught fish, which is reflected in the world rankings and your own statistics!
Tournaments / Multiplayer
In game you can participate in tournaments or start your own one and play with friends and other people all around the world.
Story Mode
In Story Mode you have to do different tasks. For each water there are different tasks and you'll receive a medal if your mission is successful.
Casting
You also can participate in casting tournaments. The world best results get stored online.
Propose new waters
As a special feature, you can suggest your own dream waters for the game. If possible, this will be included in the game and will be released with the next update.
Indie
The game is 100% indie and was made by just one person.

This game is the fishing in it's essence, it's fun and it can become quite addictive. It's more close to the fishing in real life when i'm going to fish, it's not a fishing tackle shop and repair simulator, and there's no levels you have to grind for. There are many different rods and lures, and you can do float fishing, or bottom fishing, or spinning , or bait casting, or sea fishing, or deep sea fishing from boats. You can fish all over the world (and beyond) on rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, marshes, sea. You can free fish or take part in tournaments, or you can do long casting challenges , or you can do fishing challengs for medals in all the fishing locations. Oh i forgot to mention that the fishing locations are 115, and the creator (only one man) has managed to capture the spirit and characteristics of these locations from all the world, and some times with humorous touches that make you smile. Good game for beginners or children at a good price.I made my son his steam account and bought this game for him and sometimes he plays it. No restrictions in game and lots of places to fish.Nice...I have all fishing games from steam and i had to have this one too....Respect for developer for not doing what others do in their games to milk your money...3 found this helpful
Highly recommended. it's one of the best fishing games I've played so far. All of the elements are superbly represented e.g., Locations aplenty, species galore, boat style variety, scenic excellence, I can go on but I won't bore you with my praise & enjoyment. Get it!2 found this helpful

I've only played about 30 min. but it doesn't take long to figure this one out. It's about as bare bones as you can get and still call it a game. The fishing is really nothing, You have no control over any thing other than where you point the rod. Casting is just a left click. You have no control over how far you can cast it. Right click to set the hook then left click to reel it in. There is no tension bar, it's just reel or don't reel. Don't get suckered in by the new fly fishing like I did. The only difference is the animation. It's still just left click cast right click reel. It's really not worth $10 but I doubt that it ever goes on sell. It's real to bad because this could be a really good game by just adding the cast distance and the reeling tension and maybe a reeling animation. All in all I give it a thumbs up because it is what it is, just don't be led into thinking it's something else. It's just a good quick waist of time for just playing around.1 found this helpful
