About Flying Red Barrel - The Diary of a Little Aviator
"People flying in the air? What baloney! If God had meant man to fly, He would have given him wings."As though no such thing had ever been uttered, mankind has now gained its wings.
What people dreamed of as children is the reality of today.
Everyone reaches out for the sky together, carrying their wishes upon their wings.
With the rapid development of flight technology, an organization called the "Blue Sky Union" was established to maintain the order of the sky under law. People now call it "the Guild."
Ten years have passed since, and the Guild is at last about to put an end to the prolonged anarchy of the sky.
This is a story of one of the aviators living in that era.

Very fun Arcade Shoot Them Up game from Orange_Juice. Using the game main mechanic which is "Rocket" that is capable to take out multiple enemies while also increase score multiplier and that score multiplier also increase the amount of rocket charge and score that can be obtained by collecting gold coin upon defeat an enemy. There are quite amount of depths for how you utilize the rocket mechanic. For an example, you can use rocket blast radius to defend yourself from an enemy attack which can be essential during overwhelming moment. Once you understand how rocket works, it will become the main fun factor that make this game very satisfy to play. I let you discover the rest of rocket mechanic by yourself. The gameplay is like traditional shoot them up which is doing optimal routing and speed kill enemy and boss as optimal as possible. The difficulty is very reasonable for easy, medium, and hard. Meaning that everyone with different experience can enjoy this game. The soundtrack is surprisingly great. Very enjoyable to listen as a background soundtrack while you are doing other stuff on your PC. If there are things to point out is that the game is quite short and not complex …2 found this helpful
A great bullet hell by the same people who made 100% Orange Juice. Its much harder than their other bullet hells, but the gameplay is very fun. The artwork is unique as well, and has a cool style to it. The multiple routes you can take also increase replayability.1 found this helpful
I don't like it. No auto-fire (If I use turbo on a controller sometimes slowdown doesn't work). I personally have problems with bullet visibility. There are no bombs or any other defensive options so if you get cornered you just forced to take a hit and you only have three lives, and for some reason this game have dialog in the middle of the gameplay. Characters talk to each other while there are bullets on screen which is very distracting and playing with dialog enabled feels terrible. You can either try to ignore it or disable it, missing on the story, or you can read it while being at constant risk of taking a hit, because you can’t pay attention to the dialog and bullets at the same time, which is why no other shmup does a dialog boxes that way.
