Forgotten Passages is an unusual walking simulator with no story attached. It really is experiential as it mainly comprises of brief vignettes of 100 different dreamscapes. By brief, I mean anything from 5 seconds to the max of 30 seconds! A benefit of this is that if you don't like an environment, you don't have to suffer for long! Gameplay comprises of a little girl holding a mobile phone for light. She moves extremely slowly as you follow a trial of feathers which triggers off another portal. It is a simple game suited for children as there are no horror scenes. The slight challenge is finding the 43 red feathers within the 100 levels. Some are cunningly hidden. Graphics are lovely as you wander through multiple dreamscapes. The mood shifts from level to level...going from natural, futuristic, bizarre and simply gorgeous in quick succession. You don't know what awaits you next and this piques your interest. A warning for those with epilepsy or eye problems. There are levels with flashing lights and a couple of levels with over exposed environments. It is a challenge with the latter to find the feathers and the only guide is the slight sizzle sound when you find a feat…28 found this helpful
Forgotten Passages is a very relaxing walking simulator. The back drops are absolutely gorgeous and the soundtrack very mellow. Sometimes life requires a little zen, just take it slow and soak in some beauty. There is a scene select available after completing each one so you can easily go back for the red feathers if you missed them the first go around and want that completion. Happy that 26PM decided to join the 2022 Summer Sale or I may never have come across this one considering it released in Jan/2020 and it's the first time I've seen it. Some kudos to SteamDB's for having the 'sort by historical low sales' option as well. My only complaints would be:

Wishing I could disable the glow from the phone she holds for screenshots.
The achievement graphics are a missed opportunity for some beautiful crops of the scenes to use on profile showcase customizations once the game reaches Steam metrics & leaves restricted access.
TL;DR If you like walking simulators and beautiful scenes then I would suggest picking this up. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2831082624
Additional Info
Profile Features Limited so will…15 found this helpful
This game is so chill and beautiful and each level is its own little world. I'm literally playing the game to relax. I'm enjoying that they are small levels, since I can play a few on my lunch break before heading back to the grind. It's fun to wander to all the edges of each level and take my time collecting the feathers. Sometimes I'm rewarded with finding a randomly hidden red feather, which is a lovely bonus for exploring. If you're looking for action or complex puzzles, this isn't that kind of game and it's not trying to be. However, if you're looking to inspire your own creativity, to relax and enjoy unique little worlds for a few minutes in the middle of a busy schedule, to have some quiet downtime, then this is the perfect game for you.1 found this helpful
Really enjoyed this game. I thought I'd try something different, and I liked it quite a lot. The concept is simple, walk through the game and pick up feathers (there's sometimes more than you think). What I really liked was the incredible visuals and ambiance. My favorites were the water levels (both in the water and having water present). To me the sound of water is just very calming and peaceful. I really appreciated the deep visual quality.1 found this helpful
Awesome game! Would love more levels!!
You follow a breadcrumb trail through 100 small landscapes. If you've watched old adult swim scenery bump compilations I reckon you'd enjoy this
