Dreamcore: Rabbit Hole

Fun little game, nice chapters. Love spending time here :))

This game is amazing. I have not enjoyed a liminal space game as much as this one in a long time. I thought the highway and greenhills levels were epic and the dreampools level was my favourite level in this game. I did find the basketball gym level a bit boring and small but overall I really enjoyed this game. W dev and I loved the devs secret corner in dreampools. My only complaint was that I got stuck a few times as my character wasn't tall enough to for example get back out of the water after being to the devs corner in dreampools or go down the pink slides in highway. Overall an amazing game 10/10 would highly recommend and well worth full price. W game and W dev. PS it also runs great on Steam deck LCD at 30FPS with balanced FSR. I will be back for the new level soon. Also would love to eventually see PCVR support for this that would be so cool.

The game is ok, but I wouldn't recommend. There's a LOT of walking, even for this genre of game. Even after cranking up the walking speed to max, some levels have you running through what feels like empty space for long periods of time, especially the sunflower field. The sunflower field in particular was ridiculous. You're given no clues, its literally an open field, and probably took me an hour to find the way out. It wouldn't have been so bad if the sky/scenerey changed, or if the number of scarecrows following you incerased the closer you got to the exit, but no, instead its a huge field with no end in sight other than wandering around until you find the door. There are simlilar exaples like this throuought the game but not quite as bad. I loved the simple plot, and asthetic though, just wish the execution were better.

i took edibles and played this game, best experience by far except for the fact that when there were levels involving water i thought my actual feet would get wet.
