About Francisca

Hi, my name is Mike and I am 14. I go to school but now I am on holidays.
The company where my parents work has moved to another city, so we had to move as well.
Right from the moment we moved in the new house, I started to hear some strange sounds, and after a few days I began feeling that there was someone else in the house, and when looking out of the window, it seemed that I could see somebody’s figure out there. It was a girl.
And yesterday she left a present at our door. When I picked it up, she started following me. The next day, our neighbors told me that had been a girl who liked to come to that house and play hide-and-seek with those who lived there.
Today my parents went to Mexico for a week, and I’m gonna have to spend seven days alone in our new house.
Ok so the main con here is that you don't have to use cameras at all. Everything is sound based so basically hide and listen. From time to time keep your eyes close to lower fear level which raises with the night and when hearing creepy sirens outside. The whole concept is interesting however the execution leaves much to be desired. Got to night 4 so far and overall gameplay lack something and potentially with some revision this could've been a pretty good survival horror in the vein of Paranormal Activity. Nonetheless you might wanna check it out if you like this genre but it doesn't offer too much.
Francisca is a small-scale indie horror game developed and published by Kiddy, built around a simple premise that attempts to blend jump-scare tension with light survival mechanics. You play as a fourteen-year-old left alone in a new house for seven nights while your parents are away. What begins as a typical quiet evening quickly shifts into terror the moment you pick up a mysterious gift on the front porch. From that point on, the ghostly girl named Francisca begins haunting the house, stalking you through its dim corridors and pressuring you with sudden appearances. The setup immediately taps into a classic horror trope—youthful vulnerability combined with isolation—and the game tries to sustain its fear factor across the week-long structure. The core gameplay loop revolves around managing your fear level while monitoring the house using a simple system of cameras and a tablet. You can place cameras in predetermined spots around the house, using their feeds to track Francisca’s movements as she roams. When she draws near, your fear meter rises rapidly, and if it reaches its limit, you lose the night. You can close your eyes to lower your fear, but doing so blinds and deafens yo…

In theory this is a game where you have to survive 7 nights in a house while escaping a ghost. In practice it's a game where you keep dying because there's no clear indication of what to do and the tutorial doesn't help. It's not scary, it's just annoying. I'm not sure but I would almost bet that the house is from some popular asset pack.
