Its okay. It does have some performance issues though and crashes pretty consistently. That said, the actual game here is very unique. I'm not sure everything it tries to do actually works, but its certainly interesting. The old comic style is very well done, all the hero origins are fun to unlock. The gameplay itself is pretty basic but there's enough there to keep it from getting too repetitive. The leveling up and ability unlocks per hero are very simple though and all cap after like 5 upgrades. The voice acting is so bad its almost good, but I found it to get annoying pretty quickly. The writing is alright, very similar to cheesy old comics. All-in-all I had a good time for a few hours before getting fed up with the crashes and annoyances, but its not bad for how cheap it is on sale. Definitely don't buy it at full price though.1 found this helpful
A childhood game of mine. Playable even today. Don't know what else to add. There are better, modern games out there, for sure. If you like strategy games with a mix of RPG elements, you might try it.1 found this helpful
You know I've had this game on Steam for years ..always played just fine but was hoping Workshop would be introduced so all the sweet mods people made over the years could be utilized here. Someone give this game some new life with a lil modern workover!
Both this and the original Freedom Force are a good time. A great nod to golden age comics
Pretty much like the first game but with a new story and some new superheroes. If you liked the first, you will like this one
