tl;dr this game doesn't work on modern systems, and is not worth buying unless you're willing to put in a lot of effort to make it run (if it's even possible). Even though Paradox should be ashamed for selling a product that doesn't work, the game itself is extremely fun albeit flawed. I actually enjoy the game itself, and have hundreds of in-game hours logged across other accounts. It's not everyone's cup of tea understandably - by default the game literally automates half the mechanics, there is a lot of emphasis around micromanaging your OOB, it's unbalanced, and extremely difficult to survive as a minor nation, frankly the representation of geopolitics isn't very good either. for some reason the game starts lagging after the start of ww2 and only a few months in the game becomes unplayable most likely due to my pc low specs if you have a low specs pc you should think about that

One of my favourite games ever but it has not worked in years. There are no updates and it won't run on a modern system.
