This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the game. They lost that bet. 吞噬追踪 is a lightweight online PvP experience that builds its entire identity around a simple cycle of collecting, growing stronger, hunting weaker opponents, and eventually starting over. Developed and published by 梦影幻忆, it avoids complicated character classes, equipment systems, and lengthy progression trees in favor of rules that can be understood almost immediately. Players enter an arena, gather points scattered throughout the environment, increase their level, and attempt to consume competitors who are currently weaker than they are. The level system creates the main tension. Growing stronger gives players the freedom to become increasingly aggressive, but anyone who has not accumulated enough points can quickly become prey. This naturally creates different approaches depending on a player's current position. Someone near the bottom is encouraged to avoid stronger opponents and concentrate on collecting resources, while a powerful participant can shift toward actively pursuing vulnerable targets. Тем не менее, если вы любите мрачные детективные истории и не боитесь сложных задачек, '吞噬追踪' определенно стоит вашего внимания.
