"望文爱生义" is a weird and pointless Chinese text game... from the description you'd think it was a ripoff of "Papers, Please" as you're supposed to be a print auditor... but really it's a kind of action game where the words are the entities you need to hit/dodge/etc... what a terrible idea. And it's implemented badly, too. This lack of an English translation for the game doesn't really matter. The language of shovelware games is universal. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it’s possible. Yes, obviously it’s possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that’s less than a little blip on the radar isn’t offering anything truly valuable to gamers. In terms of visuals, there aren't any. This is an entirely text-based "game". Text adventures used to be a thing in the early days of computing because there was no other option, but that was decades ago. In the era of photorealistic 3D gaming, publishing a text-only game is frankly embarrassing. Gamers don't spend thousands on high-end gaming rigs with cutting edge…
