About Word Game: Episode 0

✦ AI summary

Navigate a surreal world where words ARE the environment, solving puzzles by deleting and rearranging text to alter reality itself. This ingenious word-game transforms linguistic manipulation into pure gameplay, letting you walk through doors that don't exist and rewrite the laws of your digital world.

Word game is literally a game of words.

Words are not only composing narratives and interfaces, but also representing objects, characters and scenes.

Player controls "I" to challenge puzzles composed of words.

When "I" appears a secret room, in-game narrative clearly tells "I" that "there is no door”. However, in the world of word game, “I" can walk through the "door” because there is a “door”.

“I" should find clues between lines, delete words to change the meaning of sentences, or shift words to rewrite facts. “I” must be wise and brave enough complete the mission of words.

May the best "I” win!

I don't know much Chinese and have mostly been relying on google lens, but it's such an excellent concept and a good excuse to practice Chinese, so i'm still having a great time, despite my struggles

It was a lot of fun. I didn’t know you could make such an enjoyable game using only Chinese characters.

"Word Game: Episode 0" is is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called ""Word Game"". "Word Game" is a 2D "ASCII" adventure game with Chinese characters instead of graphics But this isn't completely relevant because this is not "Word Game", it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Word Game: Episode 0" too. The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out a whopping $35 USD on buying "Word Game", and I don't recommend you do that either. That's right, an utterly insane THIRTY FIVE UNITED STATES DOLLARS for an ASCII art crapfest. There's no English translation for the this, but that's okay. The language of bad products is universal. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. As an advertisement, this is only…
