The Foreword
There are lots of religions around the world. Almost every person and every nation have their own religion, somebody believes in God existing and somebody does not. Two, most famous religions in the world - islam and christianity have their own saint books - Bible and Koran. But have all the world gamers ever thought about their own religion, their own god and their own special book just for them exclusively that would never be available for non-gamers? Have they ever thought about the importance of games, game developers, publishers, computers, consoles and so on? Why somebody likes consoles and somebody just hates them? Why someone's computer refuses to run games or runs them buggy. Why the gamers are divided into poor and rich? How did the videogames appear in this world? Who is their creator? Have you ever thought about those questions? Have you tried to find a reply on them? If not, then this game is for you.
About The Book
You shall find all the answers for your questions right there, in the GameBook. This Book is a saint scripture made by gamers for themselves. With it's help all the videogame lovers in the world can know something for themselves as well as for their friends.
The Origin
Originally created as a part of the novel "Videogame University", George Litvinoff, GameBook is a sacred literature, predicted to be read by gamers. It is a part of the story and history of the Videogame Planet.

GameBook is not a game. It's an interactive hypertext fiction selection... not contiguous fiction... just a selection of articles... assembled with the super craptastic TyranoBuilder visual novel construction kit (like... if you thought Ren'Py was complete and utter crapcancer... TyranoBuilder is worse). The articles are nonsensical gibberish. There's no artwork or graphics, this is less interactive than a web page. I don't understand why this non-game trash is even allowed on Steam. And they're charging $10 USD for something that isn't even a game... so this is a scam. Avoid like cancer.7 found this helpful
A lifechanging and moving experience that no human is complete without. Just as the twelve apostles of Jesus were moved and driven to be something greater by his holy wisdom, so too have I become more than human, a transcendence of all of my peers, through the wisdom of the Gamebook. The blood in my veins is turned to holy water, the breath in my lungs now only able to recite holy Gamebook scripture. Despair, all ye unfaithful, for your mouths shall give wake to naught but poison and rot should ye not speak the word of The Gamebook. The night I first beheld the holy text, I awoke, crying out, and I saw before me the very essence of gaming, a warm and comforting shape far beyond my comprehension. And though it burned with the light of a thousand suns, I felt its love, and it caressed me and told unto me that my purpose was transformed, and that I must spend the remainder of my time spreading the word of The Gamebook to be welcomed into the sacred land of Gamia. And though I felt truly loved, I wept, and my tears were not water but liquid gold flowing from my spirit eye.6 found this helpful
