I only have 6 minutes in this game. I actually decided I hated it after 4, but you need to play at least 5 to review a game. ... So why did I disagree with this game so quickly? First off, the music and the sounds are very high pitch. I muted them. Next we have the gameplay. You have to defend a blue gem from slimes by hitting them with your sword. One of the user tags is tower defence.... this is not. You run up to hit the slimes with your sword by clicking in their direction, which is a problem, became aiming the sword is an awful time. Then the biggest issue. There's no borderless full screen option. You can play in a box that won't line up with the edges of your monitor... or you can play in a mode that throws a hissy fit whenever you alt tab or click on your other monitor. So what you're left with is a game you have to click on, in a box that doesn't line up with the edges.... you're going to wind up clicking off the game a lot if it's not lined up very well. Borderless windowed gaming didn't like this game when I tried that. So I am refunding it and recommending against it. You might think my reasoning is bad... but it's my reasoning. This simple premise forms the foundation of a gameplay loop that is easy to understand but capable of delivering a surprisingly engaging challenge. Unlike traditional tower defense titles where success often depends on placing structures and waiting for them to eliminate threats, Gemini constantly encourages direct involvement. Players move across the battlefield, attack enemies, collect resources, and react to changing situations in real time. Every wave demands attention because threats can come from multiple directions, forcing players to balance offensive actions with defensive responsibilities. The need to protect both the crystal and the player character creates a welcome sense of urgency that keeps encounters exciting from beginning to end. The game offers …
