About Generation Streets
What if we take a real-world map and make all the buildings three-dimensional? And then draw textures on them and add some trees, power lines and other visual garbage? That's what:

Load your hometown, find your home and this casual game will start giving you very unexpected impressions. In the free version of the game, only limited territories are available.
Warning: although most places have a relatively high level of detail, it's impossible to render objects exactly as they look in the real world due to map inconsistencies or a lack of geodata, especially in rural areas. Do not expect a 100-percent match. Places will look recognizable but no more. Also, some places are just completely missing on the map and will be not rendered.

"Generation Streets" is not a complete game. It's an advertisement/demo, and you have to pay more money through DLC to actually unlock the game. What do you get if you let the deceptive and shady marketing win and pay the DLC toll to unlock the game? Generation Streets is basically, from what I can tell, Google Earth or similar, with a lame minimalist "shoot 'em up" slapped on top... and most of the globe is paywalled, which is pretty disgusting.. But remember... you don't get the full game unless you pay up. This game is fairly dated at 5 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. As an advertisement, this is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. It's important to understand there's a formal process to create a demo/page for a game which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/s…3 found this helpful
So far, the free version is abysmally dull.
Before I played Generation Streets, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
