About Townscaper
Build charming little towns with a simple palette and watch an intelligent algorithm transform your blocks into adorable houses, bridges, and gardens automatically. It's a relaxing creative toy focused purely on the joy of building beautiful structures without goals or pressure.
Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of houses on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper's underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges, and lush backyards, depending on their configuration.

This game is sneakily good. Click click and before I know it, an hour flew by and I've got half a town and some cool unexpected structures with cool ambience. To be honest, this game actually calms my mind and that is a great thing. I would love to see little humanoids walking around and living in my newly created town besides just evidence of them being there, but for now the little effects like clotheslines and animated things do bring the town to life enough. It would be cool to go in first person and walk around to enjoy my town. Adding those would be next level if the devs so wished.2 found this helpful
