About Gisselle's Adventure
Gisselle's Adventure
A serious video game about social anxiety, narrated from the perspective of Gisselle, a young student who, after years of homeschooling, must face the real world and her own fears. Through a blend of visual novel elements, RPG, and platforming, the player will accompany Gisselle in her struggle to overcome her social phobia in a story that fuses the everyday with the surreal.
Story
The story is set in a fictional country and is narrated from the perspective of a young student named Gisselle, who suffers from a severe social anxiety disorder. After spending most of her life receiving education at home without interacting with anyone, she must face the real world for the first time when she is accepted into Harvest Imperial Academy, one of the world’s top educational institutions that holds many secrets. In this setting, Gisselle has to adapt to survive in a hostile school environment where every interaction is a major battle for her and every friendship is an achievement.
The everyday life of Gisselle at school is severely impacted by her mental disorder, which causes serious dissociations from reality, turning her mind into chaos. Her progress, though tangible, is sometimes overshadowed by these mysterious events that make Gisselle question whether what she’s experiencing is real or just hallucinations caused by extreme anxiety attacks.

Cool game, levels where the protagonist need to beat anxiety attack feel harder maybe showing that anxiety is hard to beat. Overall cool concept.Fun game.4 found this helpful
Well for the short time i been playing the game so far, its rather unique and interesting, i have noticed many typos but nothing much that can affect the dialogue of the story, also it would help if the game has added chekpoints between some levels, since can be rather tiring and grinding starting the whole level from the beginning, but sincerely at the same time its hardly difficult, once you grasp the mechanics and the objective, any level start to become easy; the imagination of Gisselle (protagonist) its very vivid, and i think it does try to show how it does be for people with similar medical circumstances, i like the approach the developer took while making it, the game does have a unique charm that get you hooked, and also Gisselle character its rather interesting and her growth too. So to summarize, i been liking the game, and enjoying it, i do play it in slow doses but it doesnt stop me from recommending it.1 found this helpful
