Without Within

Cute little visual novel. Vinty is funny, the story doesn’t take itself too seriously, and the art and music fit the whole thing pretty well. It’s really short, basically over before you know it, but it’s free. Definitely worth a quick play if you like visual novels.

This visual novel is not recommended. The TL;DR: First, there are no real choices for you to make. Any "wrong" choice instantly gives game over. There is one story here. And that story isn't all that good. The "good ending" is about the same as one of the "bad" endings -- artist goes crazy in public after her work is insulted. The story: It's a short story about an artist that is trying hard, and along the way, accidentally realizes that she's allowed her spark, her love, her passion to die off. And the story ends with it being reignited. But I did not find it more than a passible / C-grade story. There's better stories out there, much better.

It's a short and simple story. It takes at least 10 minutes to play through without skipping.

Neat little funny story about Vinty, beginner calligrapher, her mundane daily activities and down to earth lifestyle and hobbies. Graphic style is simple, yet adequately cute for the story and overall vibe, considering that this visual novel is free, game is well worth your time, moreover there is continuation of the story in next 2 games, with longer playthrough and more colourful characters along with bigger plot.

You know what? Loved it. A game that didn't sacrifice its integrity and charm. Inspiring is an understatement!!
