Overview
God Fishing is an experimental idle fishing game with aspects of horror and a running narrative. You solve puzzles to find the right combinations of location and bait to find certain catches. After throwing your hook, you will have to wait for a varying amount of time. Catching a fish will reveal some dialogue which will help you understand the wider narrative.Features part 1

This game is cool, but it's just not for me. The water visuals keep lagging and it makes me feel a bit dizzy (photosensitivity) and I'm too slow on the motion to reel in the fish to even catch anything. And then the waiting... Closing the game to open it again, even with 20x time speed misses the point of patience, it's just a chore.1 found this helpful
delightfully odd, although not for everyone given how you have to wait a few irl hours in between catches. i am a big fan of the fact the fish wear hats.1 found this helpful
An interesting experience, love the atmosphere but not for everyone. Even with speeding up the wait times progress/discovery is locked behind waiting, and by hoping you can either trial and error bait & location combos or through reading vague notes(alongside that you can still despite this all end up catching some notes). Still, a wonderful game, although at the time of posting it is incomplete. Only took me an hour to complete, but that's due to exiting the game while waiting to catch something, unsure what the time to complete including wait times is. Overall I'd say it was worth the hour I put into it, especially for the price of $0.
im 14 and this is deep (get it?) no but like really this is deep and its free go play it will make you think inward and hard
Not bad for a free game, just come back once in a while
