About Hack Time

Your employer needs help discovering who is out to get her and she only trusts you to take on this perilous mission. Hack Time uses old-school prompts (like DOS and UNIX) to access virtual programs and systems. Gain access to users’ files and emails to discover new ways to dig deeper and deeper.
Note: Hack Time is the third installment in the Hack RUN series. You should try the first version 'Hack RUN' before starting this game.

I got this for nothing and still can't recommend it. The systems are all over the place, I had to make pages of notes to work out where certain systems were, the audio quality was bad enough in the recordings that I genuinely missed clues, and a puzzle I had to 'answer' my way through made so little sense that it almost lost me and apparently did lose a dude I saw online while looking to see how many levels there were. I toughed it out until level 53, but even then I was getting tired.1 found this helpful

I played this game because I played the other two installments of the series. I personally really enjoyed the plottwists in all of the games. However my problem with this game is, that it drags on for too long with even more repetitive gameplay than the other two games. At one point I just started to immediately look into the answer of each level instead of trying to solve them. Not because the levels where too difficult, but because trying to get the required answers involved many tedious steps I wasn't willing to do at that point. Also possible game crashing bug (I try to keep this spoiler-free but this is in the late game): After reaching level
73
, the player is required to write a number in decimal format. If the player writes the number exactly as written in the solution, the game will crash. That means the player needs to write in this format: 0.0 instead of this format: .0. Depending on your operating system language you need to write the answer in this format: 0,0. The game will not tell you if you need to use a dot or a comma, it will just treat it as if the player typed in a wrong value (which the game only reveals after the play…
