It's time for a SECOND Hack Run! Test your skills again as you hack your way through strange and secretive organizations to discover their hidden agendas! Hack Run ZERO uses old school prompts (like dos and unix) to help you navigate from system to system. As you access users' accounts, you'll discover more and more about the organizations and the people that work there.
Your adventure begins when you receive a disturbing ransom note about a loved one. Your only way to set them free is to follow the kidnapper's shady demands. Once again your mission is to penetrate the maze of computer accounts through the use of your hacking skills. The stakes run high as you uncover more and more of the enemy's diabolical plan; and with over 70 levels there's no guessing how it will all end!

Необходимо находить скрытые файлы, пароли и раскрывать секреты, продвигаясь по запутанному сюжету. Особенностью игры является ее минималистичный интерфейс, который имитирует старую командную строку. Это создает эффект погружения в мир хакинга, заставляя почувствовать себя настоящим кибергероем. Сюжет достаточно интересен и полон неожиданных поворотов. По мере прохождения приходится решать сложные головоломки и применять логическое мышление. Рекомендую всем любителям головоломок и текстовых приключений. Игра отлично подходит для коротких сессий и позволяет здорово размять мозг. Приятный бонус - игра не требует подключения к интернету.

I had a blast playing this game because the hacking elements were straightforward yet offered a nice challenge. If you're hoping for a game that will keep you entertained for over 10 hours, you might want to lower your expectations, as it can be wrapped up in just a few hours. The storyline is pretty amusing overall, and if you’re into the narrative, you could easily finish it in a single day. For fans of hacking games, this one is definitely worth a look, but don’t expect it to teach you real-life hacking skills, as that has gotten way more complicated lately. If you enjoyed Hack Run, you’ll likely find Hack Run ZERO to be even better. The developers made some solid improvements, like removing those confusing passwords that were a real drag in the previous version. Plus, you can hack outside of the work terminal, which is a nice touch. If you love guessing passwords, this game is right up your alley.
