Ever wanted to be a hacker? Hack your way into the heart of a mysterious organization to uncover their secrets. Hack RUN® is a game which uses 'old school' command prompts (like DOS or UNIX) that simulate a real operating system. Learn the commands of each system to help you navigate through your adventure.
As you hack into their systems, you will learn about the organization and the people who work there. Read files and emails to find clues and riddles which will give you access to more accounts. Data found on their systems will help you learn about the motives of the organization, and how dark their plans can get. You may also discover dirty little secrets about the employees as well.
Hacking into new accounts or discovering key information will increase your skill level. As you achieve your goals, you will move closer and closer to the final achievement; over 50 levels deep!

It's a nice short game, it has interesting plot and it's a fun way to pass a couple of hours. You need a lot of observation skills, otherwise you miss important details, that help you advance the game.1 found this helpful
Enjoyed this fun wee puzzle game! You don't need any hacking experience of course, just bring curiousity and you'll be set.
I don't like to leave negative reviews but I really can't recommend this game unless you're really bored and have nothing better to do for a few hours. Anyway, the subject matter of hacking sounded interesting so I thought I'd give it a ago but "hacking" is very much a stretch... really you're just mostly reading email looking for a clue to a password for the next person to "hack". There's no real puzzle here, some guy likes baseball so his password is literally "baseball". Yup, it's that simple and other than a few mild deviations, that's the bulk of the game. I guess it was mildly entertaining but the story that was uncovered as you progress is kinda silly. I know it's a free game and that is to it's credit, but still, there are many other free games out there that will give you far more entertainment value than this one.
The game is clever, very much so that the hints inside the hints are pretty unique if you're not reading between the lines. I am enjoy it so far. Will have to restart it to actually follow through and write all the notes properly.
Played this game for less than 20 mins realized i was too stupid then deleted it
