Floating with the wind. Story: You play as a magic cloth that has the ability to make anything it covers disappear out of existence. Each level tells the story of a magician making a rabbit disappear during a magic trick. That's really all there is concerning the story, it's a cool backdrop, however it's nothing all too special. Graphics: Visually Hadr looks pretty decent and I really love the cloth physics. As you move around and wrap yourself around items it just looks and feels natural, it's actually fairly impressive for an indie game. The environments are also pretty decent, you go through trains, city streets, bars, etc. The environments themselves while looking good, still feel pretty barren and the items scattered around for you to consume look rather bland. I really think a little bit more color could have brought a lot of life to the game. There is color like neon lights in the bar area, but I feel like the other levels could have used something exactly like it. Audio: I wasn't entirely fond of the soundtrack of the game and since it's primarily the only audio you hear throughout the entire experience I came out rather disappointed by it. It's about an hour of gameplay with nearly zero replay value. The game, at best, is somewhat comparable to Donut County. Instead of making things disappear falling down an expanding hole, you make things disappear by occluding them from view with a fabric sheet. But the comparison breaks down from there. Where 'Donut' has a story and humor and characters, Hadr only has a weird little poem running the show with little or nothing to do with the action on screen. It's neat as a tech-demo, and I imagine someone could write a paper on the control scheme -- how do you control a warping, floppy sheet of fabric with nothing more than X, Y, and Z inputs. Where do those input apply to? To all the points of the sheet? Only the middle? Only the edges? Only the nearest corner?? I admit, I never really figured it out, but my brain fizzed a little bit thinking about it while I was trying to unfurl a pesky corner of the sheet. As an art installation, it's a little bit weak. This is unfortunate, because I think 'art' is really the only place you could go with this. Its spartan nature is the whole point, of course, but it's just a little too sparse. Super-good Czech videogame. I like videogames from Czech FAVU VUT! (This is perfect for streams)

I enjoyed the game for what it offered, and it was a unique experience. I'd recommend also not trying to speed through the game and just chill, make as many items disappear as you can. It's a good game for an afternoon if you want to play something different, but not invest a lot of time into it.
