At this point, this is a really old game. I got it on sale for literally 89 cents, how could you go wrong. I have a pretty beefed up PC and it was a little tricky to get it running. 1st it has to be on the same drive as steam or else you get this Application load error 5:0000065434. its only like 450 MB so that's not an issue these days. The requirements says 32 bit windows, so you have to work around this. There's two exe files in the folder - launcher and haunted house. Right click on the haunted house exe and click properties. Click the tab for compatibility. I set it to windows 7. You may have to check off 'Run as administrator ' too. I also went into 'turn windows feature on or off' ( you can search from task bar), and went to 'legacy components' and checked 'Direct Play". windows installed what it needed.. When the launcher starts i choose 1280 x720 and unchecked 'play in window' or whatever it says, just uncheck it. I have a 1280 monitor and it started fine full screen. I usually play on a 4k tv but i haven't tried if that worked yet. .. soooo.. yea for 89 cents its not bad.

Enjoyed this throwback to my Atari days!

Atari in 2010 when Atari could not do remasters - now with the new owners they do!

Good game, kinda wonky controls. I love the art and story-direction, but sometimes the controls could be smoother and more responsive.
