I am begging for an undo with how touchy the controls are, I spent about 2 of my 5 hours on this game attempting to undo mistakes then making more and rage quitting.. The controls are okay other than that, they allow for a lot of creativity... but an undo feels necessary do to that fact as well. I do hope to return to this, but for now I was unable to salvage my build and it got worse and worse with every attempt to fix it so I decided to move on for now.

I’ve been a huge fan of World of Warcraft’s new housing feature, but the unlocking and grind can feel limiting when all I really want to do is build and relax. Hearth Bound gives me that sandbox freedom—being able to create anything without restriction is exactly what I’ve been looking for. There are a few things that would make it even better: Bug fixes and general polish QoL features like mass wall/block removal (especially when placing large builds like trees) Overall, I love this game. I’ve already gifted it to my daughter and best friend, and my partner is excited to get it too so we can all build together. One idea I’d love to see in the future: Community-based maps or server-style worlds (similar to Minecraft), where players can join and build together more persistently. Right now, joining without an invite creates a separate version of the map rather than syncing with the host, which limits that shared-world feeling.

I played hours during the demo and bought it as soon as it released. The dev has been very opened to feedback, fixed bugs within days, and is very active. I have been playing the game solo, and have hours into my hearth, mostly from the demo. The building system is nice to work with, especially after a few bugs were fixed. There is a lot of decorations already in the game, and many planned features. I am personally really enjoying the game. There is so much more that could and needs be added. But for the current price, I think it's worth it.

Really enjoying this game so far, the vibe the game has really gives you this nostalgic feeling. Almost like I'm replaying old memories of enjoying RPG games in the past. Huge catalog, great camera controls, and limitless possibilities when building. Honestly the only problem I had was my weak imagination and that I was a bit lost early on. But for early access, I think this game is awesome! Also make sure to touch grass first :)

I LOVE Hearth Bound! This game's artstyle is uber comforting to look at while building builds! I also adore the customization with each object that's allowed (he rotating functions are veryyyy helpful). I feel the only things I'm hoping for in the next year for this game is maybe an undo button and some better outdoor options? Other than that WONDERFUL game!

its a lovely game, played for almost an hour so far and I enjoy it a lot. only issues I had was when I first booted the game up, the character creator lagged a lot but once I managed to get past that it played smooth.
