Okay but… I think I just found the absolute lowest point of my decor game era 😭 Like… where do I even start. There is zero depth. None.. AT ALL. Some of the rooms are SO tiny, to the point where you basically fighting to press another chair in. Some rooms genuinely feel like a game of “good luck” and almost like a 'fit them all puzzle game' lmao. And the customization you ask? what customization? You cant even change colors. At all. Not a single thing. You get what you get and you better like it xD The “gameplay” (and I use that word very generously) is: - You get one item - You place it somewhere in the room. - Repeat until the room is done Thats it. No furniture choices, no creativity, no personality. Even at 1,24€ on a 75% sale, this was… not it. Not even close. 1/10, would not redecorate again18 found this helpful
Unfortunately, I can't recommend Cozy Designer. The whole experience was rather disappointing and lacked real depth. A certain potential was mercilessly wasted here and Instead of offering a relaxing design experience, It lacks everything that would make it a game worth recommending, what is there is just boredom. The rooms are way too small, and you're constantly given requirements for which furniture to use, you never really get to make your own decisions. That makes the game repetitive and removes any replay value. On top of that, the controls feel clunky, some textures look unfinished, and there are occasional glitches when placing objects. Sometimes, two different music tracks play at the same time, which makes things even more worse. After just a few rooms, everything starts feeling monotonous, and honestly, charging money for this game feels a bit audacious. It really should be a free one. There are no credits in or for the game, no information about who really worked on what, or any details about the music. The description on the shop page says: "Position furniture and objects however you prefer and create 60 incredibly cozy environments. No right or wrong, the only l…13 found this helpful
Good game, very relaxing and cozy.2 found this helpful
Very cozy experience! Only a few levels in, but I think the themes are comfy and the music is super relaxing. I like that this game doesn't show what items are going to come up all at once, just one at a time. Really makes you think of how to arrange everything, and modify the layout as you go. I only wish this game had a level editor! It'd be fun to see what more environments people could come up with. Still, these environments are really fun to put together! I'm looking forward to playing more. :)1 found this helpful
A nice and relaxing experience. Good music and art style.1 found this helpful
This was a nice relaxing game that I really enjoyed when I wanted something to do that didn't take a whole lot of brain power. I like that you have the ability to either design each room to your own vision or use the inspiration mechanic to get some ideas of where to place various objects. The music mode also comes in handy if you just looking for some chill tracks to play in the background while working on other things outside the game.
