STORY:
1896, Great Britain: Henry Wood, a journalist who heard rumors of a village, that supposedly had undergone a curse, gets curious enough to check out the place for his latest anticipated newspaper story. Bringing Jacob, his nephew, coach boy, and intern journalist, and his friend and escort, Lieutenant Samuel Miller, on his trip to Hegis in order to uncover the truth.
However, he soon finds this to be a mistake and that he put his companions and himself in grave danger!
GAMEPLAY:
Hegis' Grasp is a story-driven and atmospheric survival-horror game inspired by old-school horror games of the PS2 era. The mysterious backstory of the Daemonis curse will be unraveled through notes from the past and events, which the protagonist, Henry Wood, a curious news writer looking to find out what recently changed in the once peaceful village, experiences as he makes his way through this cursed place.
It's up to him to choose how the story ends, but first, he must unseal the secret of the Daemonis.

Hegis' Grasp: Evil Resurrected certainly looks like an asset flip, but it isn't one. While a lot of stock/placeholder assets have been used that weren't created by the developer and weren't replaced with their own custom professionally made assets, they also properly credited the asset creators as they tried to make a game out of all of this. What game? Hegis' Grasp: Evil Resurrected is a "survival horror" (which just means horror, really, doesn't it) first/third person shooter where you fight some supernatural assets and plod through a really bad story in an even worse game. Before I get into the weeds with all the problems here, it can be summed up easily, the developers were simply far too ambitious and bit off more than they could chew... they simply lacked the resources and talent to produce the game they envisaged. The result was, predictably, a disaster, and it proves an old axiom of game development... it doesn't matter how much work goes into a game, what matters is the resultant quality. Sure, a huge amount of effort is required to make a magnificent game... but a huge amount of effort can go into a game and it can still fail. В целом, "Hegis' Grasp: Evil Resurrected" – это неплохая тактическая RPG с интересным геймплеем и мрачной атмосферой. Achievements are completely broken for money collection, the enemies spawn outside of the playable area, they are everywhere we are surrounded, get ready men. Took years to make and couldn't even get the moustaches to work or having thousands of Englishman reinforcements.
