Hello! Yeah absolutely do NOT buy this steaming pile of doo doo. I was given this key for free on keymailer thankfully, cause I am surprised they'd allow anyone to pay for this. The game is crappy walking simulator. The story makes no sense. You're there to investigate, but you don't know why you're there? But you know you're there to deal with a witch? And you know which house is hers? Cheap jumpscares, reused assets, poopy low effort graphics. A lot of the trees are floating. It says "go in every house" but you can only go in like, a third of the houses. The only settings are volume and language. Nothing else. On top of all that, there's a game breaking bug where you pick up a crucifix and go to put it on the witches door, and you land in a void-space. You're supposed to take it back from her and be teleported, but actually you get stuck there forever more. Reached out to the dev a month ago and asked them to fix it, said he would, never happened. So I'm just going to post this, and upload my "playthrough" on youtube, and that's about that. Don't buy this. It is poop from a butt.3 found this helpful
What a joke! Even for €3 it's a ripoff.3 found this helpful
This horror was alright. Pretty boring tbh. As a a person that plays a lot of horror games, this one was my least liked. Play it if you like a horror game that doesn't spook you!1 found this helpful
Village of the Curse is a first-person horror adventure developed and published by Leakage Games that immerses players in a mysterious and abandoned settlement overshadowed by a lingering supernatural curse. The game places the player in the role of a lone explorer who arrives in a forgotten village after hearing rumors of a tragedy that wiped out its inhabitants. From the moment the player steps into the eerie environment, the atmosphere suggests that something deeply unnatural still lingers in the area. Buildings stand empty, the streets are silent, and fragments of disturbing events can be discovered scattered throughout the village. The story gradually unfolds as players explore the surroundings and uncover the dark history behind the village’s downfall. The narrative relies heavily on environmental storytelling rather than lengthy dialogue or cinematic sequences. As players move through the deserted houses, narrow paths, and decaying structures, they begin to piece together clues left behind by the former residents. Notes, symbols, and strange artifacts hint at a ritual that once took place, suggesting that the curse now haunting the village is tied to a forbidden practice ca…1 found this helpful
Game glitches half-way through (when taking crucifix from witch in the open void). Issue brought up in discussion back in February. Cannot be completed on Steam (walkthtroughs on Youtube showing PayStation version works) until fixed, but no patch clearly coming. Broken game. Avoid.
