About Heirs And Graces
Despite this knowledge, Marcel applies for a job as Lord Sandor's servant in order to satisfy his curiosity about the father he never knew. The idea is to get a glimpse and go, but things become more complicated than Marcel initially planned when Lord Sandor recognizes him and makes an offer.
If Marcel can prove that he is worthy, Lord Sandor will name Marcel his heir. It all sounds a little to good to be true, but Marcel is willing to give it a chance - for now.
Play as Marcel and determine whether or not he has the skills to become Lord Sandor's heir and whether or not he forms a romantic attachment to one of four potential love interests: an ex-gladiator turned gardener, a perfectionist butler, the local doctor, or a mischievous elven Lord.

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's charming premise, solid character writing, and M/M romance options that deliver emotional depth, with particular appreciation for the diverse love interests and ace representation. However, many criticize the stat-raising system for lacking meaningful specialization incentives, requiring guide-dependent optimization to reach good endings, and offering limited player agency over story progression, making the core mechanics feel tedious and unrewarding despite the appealing setup.
I really wanted to like this game, but it just... it was incredibly dull and unappealing. I love a stat-raiser, but the way this one was implemented just didn't feel natural or compelling. And by looking at steam reviews, I do see that my instincts were right - there isn't much dynamic reaction to your stat choices. The meta is just to get 10 in every stat, then 20 in every stat, etc etc. There's no incentive to specialize and no unique options unlocked by focusing on one area. It's disappointing to me. The premise is super solid, and lends itself so well to the idea of a scheduling sim/stat raiser, but in the end it just... doesn't land for me. It just felt boring for the most part. I also felt like I had very little control over my 'route' - I just kept getting scenes from random characters. And in some cases, the choices for what raises affection and what doesn't felt very counter intuitive. It's not... offensive. It's just not enough to capture my interest.3 found this helpful
🎮 Gameplay & Genre Classic visual novel with time management elements. You play as Marcel, a rough-around-the-edges guy learning to fit into noble society. You plan your schedule each week, and those choices impact your relationships. Took me 13.9 hours to get all achievements without a guide. 🔥 M/M Content Fully MLM game with four romanceable men, including a mischievous elf, a stern butler, and my personal favorite, Kamal — a former gladiator turned gardener. He's protective, grounded, and sexy. The romance builds over time and the scenes deliver, even if they're not super explicit. 🎨 Visuals & Style The art has a dated feel and some of the sprites lean a little androgynous, likely because the devs reused assets from a previous m/f version. Still, the visuals hold up and the backgrounds suit the noble estate setting. Kamal’s design in particular works well for the character. 🗣️ Tone & Writing Earnest and a bit old-school BL. The writing leans into its tropes, but that’s part of the charm. The romance routes vary in tone, from soft and sincere to more playful. I didn’t mind the simplicity. It was a comforting, focused experience. 👍 Best Thing The dynamic between Marc…2 found this helpful
This game is a surprisingly emotional and sweet visual novel made by the makers of Loren the Amazon Princess. This game is a stat-raiser visual novel (as I am now dubbing it) and you must pass skill checks to get by in the story. Your goal is to raise 90 reputation by the end of the game to reach a 'good ending'. But that's not all, you must get 100 relationship with your chosen love interest by week 34 or bye bye romance for you. This is the part of the game that frustrated me the most, as it is near impossible to achieve this without a guide and helpful tips like maxing out a stat (that doesn't raise affection with a love interest) will increase your reputation by one point. You need certain stats to be above a certain level in order to pass certain checks, passing these will give you reputation points. You can fail certain checks later in the game and still gain enough reputation. But managing these without a guide is again, near impossible. And this is where the game fails a bit. You shouldn't need a guide and follow specific directions in order to get the 'good ending' with a love interest, or a good ending period. This is my only complaint, however. this game was fun very tame. It had a lot more to it than i expected for the price. I was pleasently suprised
Would fall for Eloy again, 10/10.
The story is cute. There's a lot of fun for me in it from the different characters. Being Ace, I can really identify with Marcel, although he may actually be Demi from the way he is written. Having played a lot of rpgs, I really love Eloy quite a bit. His characterization just tickles me for some reason. Yes, it is trope heavy, but I feel like it was all done in good fun. It's definitely a lovely BL casual game.
