Perfect Gold: The Alchemy of Happiness is a short, coming-of-age yuri visual novel about two former friends who escape detention in order to celebrate the Sunflower Festival. Set in the magical city of Castlecoast, readers get to know Audrey Clary, an alchemy student and heiress who secretly dreams of a different life, and Marion LaRue, a rebellious elemental magic student in search of someone she once loved.

A lovely story featuring two girls navigating their own feelings and honestly kind of underrated, in my opinion. I cried a bit playing this, the writing really spoke to me.

A nice short escape from reality.
I loved it! It was so cute. Just the right amount of drama and tender, sweet moments. I kinda don't wanna go for the bad ending now cause it was just the best. Really recommend if you love yuri. Also yay for the nonbinary representation! It was gorgeously animated, warm and enchanting to look at. The artwork is really beautiful, chill music, just so thoughtfully created. Seriously cute.
