About Hellway
Hellway combines the advantages of retro stylistic roguelike games. The game draws from such titles as Diablo™ and Bomberman™ but is maintained in a dark-fun atmosphere that may appeal to many gamers.
Meet Zazazel, a little devil whose mission is to reach the very bottom of hell. He can do this in two ways: tear through the dungeon killing every monster he encounters, or painlessly place booby trap bombs on unsuspecting monsters (good luck!). We hope that the game will steal the hearts of those who prefer to go through the game with tactics and those who want to touch the sword of each encountered enemy.
Game mechanics takes into account
- 11 Acts.
- A choice of 3 character classes: Pyrodancer, Banemaster, and Rockslider, each with a different skill tree.
- Randomly generated game world.
- Leveling up and Skill's Tree.
- The need to ensure that your weapons do not blunt.
- Equipment with life potions, sharpshooters or teleport to the city.
- 4 statistics.
Strength + Weapon's Level: affects your weapon's durability along with your minimum and maximum damage.
Constitution + Armor's Level: affects your maximum health.
Speed + Boots' Level: affects movement and attack speed.
Luck + Amulet's Level: affects the chance for dodge, critical attack, and loot drop.

[h1]Before I played Hellway, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good[/h1]2 found this helpful
The game itself isn't bad, but there are a lot of things that irked me early on. I played the whole thing once and this is what I liked and disliked (spoiler ahead): + The appearance of the character portrait changes based on the skills you pick + overworld sprite changes based on equipped gear + in-menu title of the character changes depending on skills too I think this is neat lol. love the little details + also the graphics in general are really good, i like them a lot - the screen is extremely small, which i didn't mind but I can see it being annoying to other players. - There is no confirmation for starting a new game (high misclick potential!!) - there are keybinds for abilities and and items but the game doesn't tell you i think?? - actually the game barely tells you anything - literally no story, and extremely underwhelming ending some balance things I'd like fixed because I think those aren't very fun as is - movement speed is extremely slow in the beginning, it should start at at least 15 - weapon sharpness wears out very quickly and doesn't scale apparently - freeze seems really overpowered and ignores your actual speed stat, as it resets it to 15 no matter how high y…
Despite the painfully slow movement I think this would have been a really cool game if not for the baffling decision to use only 1/4th of the screen making everything ridiculously tiny and painful to look at. Nothing is good enough to justify dealing with such hostile visual design but especially not this game.
Cute, very playable.
