Hellblusser is a compact yet surprisingly rich action roguelike that showcases the Sokpop Collective’s talent for distilling bold ideas into tightly focused experiences. Developed by Sokpop Collective alongside Tom van den Boogaart and published by Sokpop themselves, the game places mechanical clarity and moment-to-moment fun above scale or narrative sprawl. Rather than trying to compete with massive roguelikes filled with endless systems, Hellblusser embraces brevity, replayability, and expressive combat, delivering a game that feels immediately approachable while still rewarding mastery over time. The premise is whimsical in classic Sokpop fashion, casting the player as a young prince descending into Hell with the unusual goal of extinguishing its flames. It's fun, is easy to learn, and it's CHEAP. This is a very simple rogue-lite with some amazingly charming graphics and super simple gameplay. You can probably knock this game out in a couple of hours and the gameplay is smooth as butter once you learn it. Check this game out and see what awaits you in the dungeons.

One of the best Sokpop games yet! (In my opinion), I really enjoy the unique identity it manages to have while keeping to the minimalistic style of its visual brothers, though its able to really set itself apart with some incredibly solid & semi-challenging combat, (that I thought was actually quite fun to get good at). But despite its generally small size & nature, I still consider it to be one of the very few games to ever succeed at feeling like a first person souls like. Very cool stuff, Sokpop!!

Pretty good roguelite. No metaprogression which I like far more than games with too much metaprogression.
