[b]edit:[/b] after 2.5 months videos supposedly don't skip anymore. free czech tourism-based fmv with english subtitles. great idea, would love to explore random real cities like this. well, not exactly like [i]this[/i], with a language toggle as the only setting in the silent main menu. then it gets expanded to a [b]volume slider whose position doesn't get saved between runs[/b] and a subtitle toggle in the pause menu, brought up with esc. volume is all over the place anyway, so the slider isn't all that useful but still necessary because the story starts with blaring music, the perfect companion to semi-hidden audio options. no flowchart, exit means to the desktop without confirmation and [b]progress is not saved[/b]. the store page says a playthrough is between 2 and 15 minutes (there are a bunch of 'bad' endings) and [b]space skips scenes, unseen or not[/b], so going down different paths is not too tedious, except for the remembering part to make sure you've seen everything. videos are simple mp4s but subs are stored in one of the unity files, so watching them outside the game without czech knowledge is not ideal. either way, [b]the game is bugged beyond belief[/b], what wit…

The idea behind the game, or rather the idea of an interactive guide, seems really nice. It gives you an opportunity to see a place that I probably would never have seen otherwise. Unfortunately, the game is so full of bugs and errors that it is basically impossible to play. A much better idea would have been to simply make a normal video. A lot of the interactive options either lead to the wrong part of the story or simply connect to the wrong branch. It really feels like this was not properly tested for these kinds of errors. For example, you choose to go to a café, but instead they go to a museum. You choose to go and buy a ticket, but a moment later they start talking about not having any money and decide to hitchhike by making a sign. This might actually make sense if not having any money was not a separate choice. But it is. The choice simply leads to the wrong part of the story. The same thing happened when I chose to go to the museum, but they went to a café instead. Then, in the middle of a completely unrelated situation, a completely different person suddenly appeared and started directing us towards the café, even though there was no choice that suggested we would me…
