I first used the Playne meditation game about 1.4 years ago, and I am currently using the Miracle of Mind app. I decided to try this meditation game also because it is free, and one reason I switched from Playne to Miracle of Mind was that Playne was not available on mobile. This game continues the meditation concept seen in Playne but presents it in a different environment. Progress happens gradually over time, and the design removes a strong emphasis on streaks and strict achievement tracking to keep the experience calm. The experience encourages regular practice in a calm and steady way. New elements appear as progress continues, giving small changes without distracting from the meditation. At first, the approach may seem simple, but over time it keeps the experience varied while still remaining focused on the practice itself. The game is still in Early Access, so some parts may change or improve in the future. However, the overall experience already feels stable and well put together. Additional personal customization options, such as adding quotes or changing visual settings, could enhance it further. Overall, the game provides a quiet meditation space with gradual progress …

Inward is a distinctive relaxation and mindfulness experience that uses the language of video games to encourage meditation, reflection, and healthier personal routines. Developed and published by Krish Shrikumar, it is far removed from the usual structure of objective-driven games. There are no enemies to defeat, complicated puzzles to solve, or competitive rankings to pursue. Instead, the experience revolves around taking time for guided meditation, journaling, and gradually developing a peaceful virtual sanctuary. Its unusual concept gives it a specific audience, but for players interested in mindfulness and calming interactive experiences, the underlying idea has considerable appeal. Meditation forms one of the central pillars of the experience. Guided sessions are intended to fit into different schedules rather than demanding a large amount of uninterrupted time. This makes the program suitable for short visits as well as longer periods of relaxation. The emphasis is less on completing individual challenges and more on establishing consistency. Journaling works alongside meditation by encouraging reflection and giving users another way to engage with their thoughts. These fea…

This is a meditative game, quite literally. You find yourself on a simple island and every day you go to meditate and spend time practicing mindfulness, you put energy into grow trees and other natural elements for your island. It is simple and delightful. You can use the game to set aside time to listen to the in-game narrative or use your own mindfulness sources. This is likely the last version of this game that we will get, but it is free so try it out, see if it helps you spend a little time with deep breathing and calm.
