About Mind Garden

Your ticket has arrived - and it's inviting you to the Mind Garden! When the weight of memory becomes too much, retreat into the Mind Garden—a place where time flows differently and healing awaits.Awaken at dawn in a surreal garden populated with residents who seem to know more about you than they initially reveal. Complete simple quests throughout a single day, collect memories for a mysterious flame growing at the heart of a tree, and slowly piece together fragments of yourself. As the day progresses, so does your journey toward an uncomfortable truth. The garden holds answers, but are you ready to face what you've been avoiding?Mind Garden is a short, intimate experience (1-2 hours) featuring handcrafted artwork scanned from original crayon drawings and real childhood videos.Keep a journal of your discoveries, interact with the garden's quirky inhabitants, and decide whether to remain in blissful detachment or confront what lies beyond the garden's boundaries. In the space between memory and reality, sometimes the only path forward requires courage—and fire.A personal, poetic journey about finding the strength to face what we've locked away.

This handmade game has a cute and charming atmosphere. It is a very personal piece of art, crafted by someone who has just begun transitioning into adulthood. The author called this game their Memoir and "the result of zelda, lana del rey, my Catholic faith, my weird childhood". To say it in a videogamedunkey fashion, it's the first memoir-type game I've played, and I'm glad I did. If you're feeling like it, I invite you to visit the garden as well. Cast your own feelings and experiences onto it. Make the most of this hour-long spiritual journey.

Loved the art, music, and story. Such a wholesome beautiful little story. Love the characters and ending. Defiantly some sad parts to it. Overall such a great game!

A very heartfelt story about trauma, loss, growth, and finding your place in the world! The game does a very good job of guiding you through the narrative by having you complete quests for a group of very whimsical and memorable friends! The art-style is very nostalgic, and fits the narrative very well as it looks like a project/drawing that a child would make for their art-class!
I hope we can see Carrot happy again one day, absolutely heartbroken seeing him like that in the end.
Can't wait for the dev's future projects! :) P.S. I apologize for the delay in reviewing the game! My Windows died and I lost all my save data for this game, along all others, plus the past few months have been quite hectic at work. And I didn't want to put out a half-hearted review.
