Note: Dead Multiplayer game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population, as the developer pulled the plug on back end infrastructure. This game cannot be played as intended.
This was a laughably bad bot shooter with a co-op focus as you and your friends would shoot waves of pixelcrap enemies, but the developer decided to yank multiplayer, leaving a glorified botmatch. It's a dead multiplayer game, and it's time for us to have a post-mortem to see some of the reasons this failed. Almost every multiplayer exclusive game on Steam fails. Developers often assume just because they published their game, it's going to "go viral". I'm guessing this is a case of the developers making this game in complete isolation without even bothering to look at what other multiplayer games on Steam already offer. There's fierce competition in the multiplayer game arena... and I'm not referring to players fighting other players. There's thousands of multiplayer-only games but only a tiny handful of them are successful enough to attract and keep a wide player base. This game failed to compete and did…

Positive: Free to play and easy to start ✔️ Classic top‑down action with simple beat‑’em‑up/shooter combat Retro pixel visuals and arcade feel make it fun for quick sessions Negative: Very basic content with limited variety Combat can feel repetitive after a few rounds Graphics and sound are simple compared to modern action titles 🏆 Completionists & Achievement Hunters: There is only 1 Steam achievement — Fighter (kill an enemy). You should be able to unlock it within a short session, but players have reported cases where this achievement doesn’t trigger reliably in the current release. Some community guides recommend using an older version of the game if you’re having trouble getting it to unlock. Overall: Jay Fighter Remastered is a short, free action experience with a nostalgic arcade vibe. It’s great for a quick go‑around, but don’t expect deep mechanics or long playtime. If you’re chasing the sole achievement and it doesn’t pop, be aware that it may not register reliably for everyone.
